In this video, I explain how to update Amcrest camera firmware.
The process is straightforward and takes less than 5 minutes.
With the update, it's possible to fix known issues and also activate new features.
How To Upgrade the Firmware
To upgrade the firmware, use a web browser and follow the steps below:
- Download the upgrade file (link below);
- Login to the camera;
- Go to Setup>>System>>Upgrade;
- Click the "browse" button and locate the file;
- Click the "Upgrade" button;
- Wait for the process to complete.
After the firmware upgrade, the camera reboots itself and gets ready for use.

Open the System >> Upgrade Menu.
Click the "Browse" button.
Click the "Upgrade" button.
Wait for the upgrade to finish.
And it's done. Your Amcrest camera is updated.
You can now take advantage of the security features and settings.
