Configure Hikvision IP camera to save images to Shared Network Folder
Enter Configuration, then Storage, followed by Storage Management, and finally, Net HDD. You will need to open the Server’s IP address and File Path.
Select the Mounting Type and change it to SMB/CIFS. Once you are done, enter the credentials, meaning the username and password, and finally click on Test.
If you were successful, then Save the settings. Then Click on HDD Management and select the HDD tick box. Next, click Format. You will need to be patient, as this process can take some time.
A rule of thumb is that the bigger the hard drive you have, the longer you have to wait for this process to configure itself out.
Now select Schedule Settings and make the entire week Continuous; after, click on Save.
