There are a couple of methods to watch Blink Camera on TV, including casting the live view or past recordings or simply making a connection between your Amazon Alexa and Blink camera to make things simple.

Ways to watch Blink Camera on TV.

As mentioned, we will go over a couple of different ways you can stream your past footage or live view of your Blink camera to your TV.

Google Chromecast

You can quickly install this little device. And it is also super affordable and connects to the back of your TV. Thus, allowing anyone to share videos and use their phones as the remote.

This works for both iPhones and iOS devices, as well as any Androids. You cast your phone’s imaging to the screen, but be advised that you will have no audio if you do not turn on the microphone permission.

To cast the Blink app on your TV using Google Chromecast, you will need to have the Google Home app already downloaded, signed in, and connected to your Chromecast.

Once all of that is ready, launch the app, and select your TV. Then choose “Cast my screen.” Now you can freely open the Blink app and choose footages you would like to review or simply watch the camera live.

If you are done and no longer want to mirror your phone to the TV, return to the Google Home app. Then select your Chromecast and then click “Stop Mirroring.”

Apple TV

If you are more of an Apple fanatic, then you can still find a way to watch Blink Camera on TV. To do so, you will need an Apple TV box connected and set up prior to mirroring.

Apple devices such as iPads and iPhones utilize AirPlay to connect your device to the TV. Once you start mirroring, anything you see on your phone will be shown on your TV. To do so, follow the steps below:

Start by opening the Control Center on your iOS device, then select the “Screen Mirroring” icon and select your Apple TV. If you are need a password, type in the passcode that appears on your iPad or iPhone.

Once connected, you can launch the Blink app, watch the footage, and view your camera live. Once you are done, just open the control center once again and click “Stop Mirroring” to stop casting.

Amazon Fire Stick

You can also use the Amazon Fire Stick to watch Blink Camera on TV. Apart from being super affordable, you can connect your Blink device to Amazon Alexa. You can use voice commands such as, “Alexa, show me the front porch camera.”

The first step is already owning and having the fire stick set up. To connect the Blink app to Amazon Alexa, you will need to launch the app on your phone.

The Amazon Alexa app is available for iOS devices in the App Store and Google Play Store for Android devices. After launching, make sure you are log into your account. Your Fire Stick should already be linked to your Amazon account.

On the top left, open the three lines icon and choose “Settings.” Then choose “TV and Video” and select your Fire TV device. Whether that be the Amazon Fire TV Cube or the Fire TV Stick

Then click on the “Link” button and continue following the screen prompts. You will be asked to connect your Blink account to your Amazon one by signing in.

Once both of the devices are connected, you can use commands to get Alexa. You will be able to show your cameras and footage straight to your TV. Whether you use an Echo device or the remote control button. Now, you can command Alexa to show you any linked Blink camera.
