Night vision
the Ring Spotlight does have night vision and day/night mode. While still having a high-definition image. This can be used when you install a camera in a dark place when the camera senses low light it turns on the infrared lights.

The motion detectors can be triggered by cars, people, animals and other things that can trigger the cameras motion detector. But don't think you will be spammed every time a car passes down the street.
You can mess around and configure places that the motion detector can detect and therefore it will not spam you, but alert you if someone walks up to your door. This can be a very useful feature.

Ring has monthly service plans that include the cloud storage and playback of all the videos. They have two separate prices that depends on what you want and how much you want to record.
The protect basic plan costs $3 a month and a total of $30 a year. It includes 60 days of cloud storage, the ability to share videos, and video reviews of missed events. However, you can also get another plan.
For $10 a month (a total of $100 a year) you can get the protected plus plan, which extends coverage on all your devices, gives you exclusive discounts and a lifetime warranty that covers theft and damage.

Conclusion
Not only does the Ring Spotlight have great resolution and an amazing field of view, but it also is easy to install, and to set up. The app is incredibly simple to operate and play around with.
All of the features it comes with are incredibly beneficial such as the alarm and lights which can keep your house safe in case of any burglars, which are going to be scared off easily.
The only con that can really be a deal-breaker is the extra money you have to pay a month, but it isn't such a huge number. So that is not really a huge problem for some people.
